At the end of the year, it’s common for folks like me to tell the world what I thought “the best” were for the year. I love lists and use them to help vet how I spend my time and energy. Coming to the end of 2023, I have read over 30 books and screened over 210 films, many in the theater. While, you don’t have so share my opinions about the best books and movies of 2023, I don’t think they are ill-informed.
