What Else Is On My MindGrapes #12
Happy New Year Friends,
This week, Rochelle and I finished our yearly review and planning for the new year. It’s a laborious, slow process. I don’t look forward to it, especially the portion where we review our year and chronicle what went well and what didn’t. Even though I dislike the process, each year I’m astonished at all God’s allowed us to do — from financial goals, to vacation, to ministry, and so forth. I’m reminded that life doesn’t just happen. The life you want takes planning and patience and practice.
In 2022, we have some major goals. I want to write in this space more (and I’ve reduced the monthly price), and engage in some creative projects I can’t yet speak about, but which are far outside my comfort zone. Frankly, it’s all scary. Plus, this fall, our oldest daughter, Malia, heads off to college — which one we don’t yet know — and I’m an emotional wreck about it. All pride and grief, that’s me.
