“I don't have time to write,” she said to me sitting across from me at Starbucks. This was after a long rant Tiffani went on about all of her book ideas. She went on to say, “I have a full-time job and kids…I just don’t have time to write.” I was gracious, I hope. But I was thinking, “What do you think the rest of us have?”
I, too, have a full-time job. I have kids and a partner. I have side-hustles to make the ends meet. It’s not that you “don’t have time,” it’s that you don’t make time.
