One of the most anticipated movies of the summer is here. It’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Movie goers and deep cinephiles a like have wondered if Marvel could arrest the tailspin they were in before 2025.
In my view, they have. Thunderbolts* — though not a box office smash — is quietly one of the best super hero movies ever made, proving that the magic is not done. Plus, it finally turned me into a full on Florence Pugh fan.
In this episode of Sacred Frames, Jeff, Movie Mike and I discuss whether this four is all that fantastic, what the failure or success of The Fantastic Four means for Marvel, and we play a game or “God or Doctor Doom” where we test our Bible and Marvel knowledge.
